This wide ruins, weaving by master weaver Lily Morgan is entirely handmade. The wool was hand-carded and hand-spun, and the vegetal dyes were gathered from the weaver's backyard, the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona. Then dyed by the weaver. This weaving was collected by Vicki Noe in the 1950s and early 1960s, who owned "The Zuni House Trading Post". She was one of the first solo women traders on the Navajo Reservation. Always stored away in a moth-proof trunk. The beautiful plum or Desert Rose and natural gray really set off this wide ruins design.
