Hopi Butterfly Maiden basket woven kachina woven by master weaver Alicia Adams. This rare, large kachina doll weaving is very detailed and evenly woven. The Tableta and Feet are carved by her brother, a well known kachina carver.
Alicia learned basket weaving at an early age and has won best of class awards and blue ribbons at the InterTribal Ceremonial at Gallup, New Mexico and at The Santa Fe Indian Market.
The doll with tableta is 14 1/2" tall and 11 1/2" wide at the widest.
