Large almost antique 1960s "Wide Ruins" area rug hand carded hand spun hand vegetal dyed wool woven by master weaver Mary Bia of the famous Bia family of weavers. Collected by the Zuni Shop in the 1960s, this rug has been stored away in a mothproof trunk and is in as woven (new) condition.
The upper right corner has a slightly wide gold band. The weaver picked the various plants on the Navajo Reservation and hand dyed each color herself.
